Six Reasons Why You Should Run With Your Dog

1.) People don’t have tails that wag

On days that your dragging , Fido can remind you that running can be joyful. His wagging tail, smiling face, and friskiness is contagious!  He can help you continue to keep going with his relaxed strides and breathes.

2.) Dogs are natural athletes

Dogs are natural runners.  You might be surprised how much you get out of sharing this common interest.  Its even better if you both take a nap together afterwards.

3.) They don’t care how many calories you’ve burned

Human partners can get caught up in how many calories they’ve burned and their GPS stats, but a dog will remind you that the best workouts are the ones where you can just run free.

4.) They won’t except your excuses

It’s hard to say no to their wagging tails and smiling faces.  One University of Missouri study showed that people who exercised with a dog were more likely to stick with it than those who go it alone or with a human partner.

5.) A tired dog is a good dog

Getting your dog sufficiently tired he’s more apt to snooze at your feet than to terrorize the postman or chew up your favorite new shoes.

6.) 40% of our dogs are overweight

They suffer from the same health complications that overweight people do.  Veterinarians are becoming more and more concerned about disease and other obesity related illnesses in dogs.  Taking your dog for a walk just isn’t going to cut it.  So get off the couch, close the laptop and  put on your running shoes and take Fido out for a sprint around the neighborhood

You could certainly see your expertise in the paintings you write. The arena hopes for more passionate writers such as you who are not afraid to mention how they believe. Always go after your heart.
